Good morning. Its a cloudy start across the entire region, with areas of misty light rain and drizzle affecting many areas, including Christchurch City. A few spots have recorded 4-7mm overnight, with further light additions this morning.

Cloudy and cooler conditions linger through the day, with areas of drizzle and light showers lingering about the foothills until evening. Winds will remain light, tending easterly from midday. Check into your town page for specific and moderated details today.
