Nick Jenkins my washing machine told me it was 31.3c but my calculator said it was 34.4c , now the dog collar said it was 29.8c. These are all accurate readings from the same town. I’m so confused. Can you help me!? Based in Darfield

No wonder I was feeling it while digging potatoes! It was too hot for me so I'm going to enjoy a bit of air conditioning now. 😅

Loving the warmth, wished we’d had more of it. Canterbury or at least Christchurch people seem to not cope with the heat, probably as they are not used to it. 26 - 28 I think is a good medium.

I love living in Christchurch. My ancestors lived here and my family were born here. We are strong people who can cope at whatever comes our way, we have been doing it for years.

Looking forward to the cooler weather and rain is always good for the paddock. A combination of the two MIGHT encourage some mushrooms to grow :-)
