I love going to hanmer springs . Never been in the.hot pools when its snowing yet but i think it would be amazing .

Hanmer springs 100%. Helps so much with the painful body to. Me and the kids would always be there if we could 😀

Hanmer Springs is a favourite destination for this lady who has just been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in addition to a lifetime spinal condition that means a wheelchair, and now RETIREMENT at the age of 79. So I would love to win the pass.

Hammer Springs is a beautiful place in every month of the year. The distinct difference in winter is the snow on the hills and everybody all wrapped up to keep warm. Then you go into the hot pools and everybody is in their swim suits enjoying the warmth of the pools. So close to Christchurch makes Hanmer Springs accessible to so many of us all.

Without a doubt Hanmer Springs, soaking in hot pools while surrounded by snow is what makes winter a truly magical time!

I love hitting up Hanmer springs in the middle of winter during study break. A chance to get up to the ski field, break. Aleg at the ice rink, climb up jollies and Jack's pass than relax in the pools for the remainder with good food and good booze....and maybe a massage. 😊😁 Matt Wakelam

Hanmer Springs always lovely.🌞

From here in Kaikōura, Mt Lyford is the closest winter getaway, the lodge has a spa where you sit out in the snow at night it’s amazing to look up at the night sky and in the morning we pop up skiing at the Mt Lyford ski field. It’s A great winter escape.

Nothing nicer than sitting in the hot pools when it is snowing in Hanmer Springs , would love to win this for my husband and I :-)

Oh goodness Tekapo? Hanmer? both so lovely. I haven't been to the pools in Tekapo but I really like Hanmer especially in the snow and it is just so close to Christchurch. I guess I would have to vote Hanmer if I was to choose - and a dip in the pools would be a bonus😉🌨☃️

Of course Hanmer Springs is my favourite winter and summer destination. Love the atmosphere there. Do much to do!!!

Good evening. It’s been an interesting day across the region with significant contrast in overhead conditions and temperatures.

🌡Culverden took top honours with 20.2 degrees while many towns and areas across the Canterbury Plains & Coast struggled to budge the low cloud/fog and recorded much cool day time ‘highs as extensive high cloud rolled in. Full list of the daily ‘highs’ via the homepage link below.

🌫 Keep an eye out for more areas of low cloud and fog ‘pockets’ overnight.

❄ WINTRY WEATHER? We’re due, after what’s been an incredibly dry and settled month of weather across the Canterbury Plains & Coast.
