SOCIAL MEDIA & MARKETING – part time

This is a great opportunity to utilise and grow your marketing, sales and social media skills, with one of Canterbury’s most trusted and well know brands.

Highly competitive hourly rate and other team benefits and flexible working hours to fit into your lifestyle. The job will initially be 5 hours per week, with the potential for more hours. The opportunities and scope for development are significant.

Main duties will include building existing relationships with current clients, meeting new partners and securing new sponsorships, and advertising on our powerful forums and platforms, including traditional online advertising, membership loyalty programme, social media and our What’s On Canterbury addition, with CWU T.V – coming soon.

You’ll also be working on our social media pages and in some cases developing our brand on new platforms, with regular content in 2023.

Job requirements – to succeed in this role you’ll need:

•Strong social media understanding and knowledge; primarily Facebook, but also TikTok and Instagram. You’ll also be working on our website, via word press – training provided.

•Strong verbal and written communication skills and experience in marketing and sales.

•The ability to build relationships with partners is essential as well as skill sets to secure new leads and relationships across the Canterbury region.

•Experience in digital and social media management software.
