Look at all those high temperatures and then their is poor old Arthurs Pass!! That made me so much, is that wrong??

That’s funny when I reported 35 in Fairlie yesterday I was ridiculed

We are now on 29 in Ashburton.

Finished work in Timaru at 4pm car said 34 degrees

Been 32 in Woodbury Canterbury

Did get to 33.0 in Ashburton now 31.9..tis v hot

Summer arrived on the east by the looks of that, nice warm and wet on the west much needed rain

Nick Jenkins my washing machine told me it was 31.3c but my calculator said it was 34.4c , now the dog collar said it was 29.8c. These are all accurate readings from the same town. I’m so confused. Can you help me!? Based in Darfield

Thank goodness for Aircon, it's going full throttle 😆 🤣 😂 don't like the heat

I was hiding in my house with the aircon sooooooo hot!!!🥵

No wonder I was feeling it while digging potatoes! It was too hot for me so I'm going to enjoy a bit of air conditioning now. 😅

I work part time outside and I'm not as hard as I thought I was I had to retreat at 1pm haha

Loving the warmth, wished we’d had more of it. Canterbury or at least Christchurch people seem to not cope with the heat, probably as they are not used to it. 26 - 28 I think is a good medium.

Making some protein berry sorbet. Perfect for a stunning Canterbury day

I love living in Christchurch. My ancestors lived here and my family were born here. We are strong people who can cope at whatever comes our way, we have been doing it for years.

Absolutely love it. Hot weather over cold weather any day 😌

Happy to take it while we can get it. I will be moaning about the cold soon enough.

Looking forward to the cooler weather and rain is always good for the paddock. A combination of the two MIGHT encourage some mushrooms to grow :-)
