A whirlwind/small tornado went through Spring Grove in Belfast when the southerly arrived. Wheelie bins and rubbish were being moved/blown all over the place. Crazy winds.

Has there been any reports of a small tornado? There’s some people in our subdivision in Belfast saying they are sure there was one heading north down the street.. sounds ridiculous lol but I looked out the window and saw a mass of brown dust moving down the street they’re on. Didn’t really know what to think but it came out of nowhere and was wind I have never experienced in my life!

The front has just gone over Waikuku beach 👍😊the wind is very gusty

Temperature has definitely dropped in fernside. Wind has picked up and just started spitting outside now. Happy I got the horse cover on. Hunkering down in my caravan. Fingers crossed no lightening.
