❄️ITS ALL GO - the latest data is suggesting widespread snow on Friday and Saturday about the upper plains and foothills. Sea level flurries are possible, with heavier snow above 300-400m.

❄️Snow and sleet may even linger on Sunday, at lighter intensities.

❄️Note - a brief period of warm advection snow arrives for many southern and central areas early Thursday above 300m.

🌬🧊This will be an extended period of bitterly cold and snowy weather about the hills and upper Canterbury Plains.

Bring on the new stadium for weather related situations like this coming up.
