🌤🌦WEEKEND OF TWO HALVES – fine and mild today/colder, with southerlies, showers & hill snow on Sunday.

Good morning. Our Saturday is looking fine and milder in the east, with nor-westerly influence.

🌦Cooler southerlies cover the region on Sunday, with more widespread showers about inland areas during the afternoon. Any precipitation will fall as light snow about the high country (800m+).

❄️Our road snowfall warning remains in place, with light accumulations possible about our higher passes.

❄️🌧More widespread heavy rain, snow and cold southerlies remain on course for Tuesday/Wednesday and further snow related warnings may be issued on Sunday, or Monday. This front has more moisture and could bring up to a months rainfall in eastern areas.

Hey stop that just give us a wee moment. It's a beautiful day in Timaru.

Just Checked our gauge and it hit 36. In Coalgate close to Glentunnel which said 20. Thought it was bloody hot this afternoon.
