Run Akaroa
Ready for a race like no other? Run Akaroa, nourished by Akaroa King Salmon, delivers one of New Zealand’s most breath-taking courses. Set along the rim of an ancient volcano, runners and walkers will experience stunning views of Akaroa Harbour on one side and the Pacific Ocean on the other.
Built for everyone, from elite athletes to first-timers, each course is designed for maximum scenery and atmosphere. For one day only, participants will also enjoy the rare opportunity to run or walk the iconic Summit Road completely traffic-free.
Make a weekend of it and explore Akaroa and the wider Banks Peninsula, known for its history, wildlife, food, culture, and waterfront charm.
Be part of the atmosphere. Be part of history. Be part of the very first Run Akaroa in Autumn 2026.
