RACE DAY FORECAST FOR SATURDAY
High cloud, extensive, with spill over showers and rain risk about from mid to late morning (9-10am) lingering risk of spill over through the afternoon, with some steady falls possible, before easing late evening. Totals are likely to remain fairly low. Strong nor-westerlies, easing by midday and tending light nor-easterly. Gusts up to 50-70km/hr before midday about the summit, more sporadic and lighter at lower elevations, changing south-west late evening.
HIGH
16-17 degrees (Copper Creek.) Mt Oxford Summit 9-11 degrees – the associated wind chill make it cooler in exposed parts of the mountain.
LOW
14-15 degrees early Saturday morning – north/n0r-westerly influence.

Before midday 55-66% . After midday 65-75%. Rainfall totals for the day: 4-6mm possible from 9am.
