GAME DAY FORECAST – CRUSADERS VS THE BRITISH LIONS

GAME DAY FORECAST – Saturday evening 7:30pm Crusaders Vs the British Lions – updated 4:15pm  Saturday afternoon.

The Lions are under the pump, with a real lack of ‘killer’ punch in the backs & the inability to use the ball effectively, with this in mind, make no mistake the Lions will be hoping for wet & cold conditions, with an emphasis on dominating set pieces & playing a  forward oriented game. My take anyway, lets see – maybe I should stick to the weather!?

Earlier this week Saturday it looked bleak, in fact snow levels looked around 400m at one stage, with wintry showers. As we head into later stages of the week, this front has really lost its oomph and we don’t expect any real rain, or significant shower activity. The wind direction, (wind flow) will be SW so it will be cold, especially at kick off. We do expect a few showers on Saturday, mostly in South Canterbury, with Christchurch avoiding any shower activity  & remaining fine, but cold!

Air Temperature at kick- off: 4 degrees

Wind direction: 5-10km SW – Gentle breezes

Chance of rain: 0%

** So overall, not to bad!-  Just wrap up warm & enjoy. It should be an open and free flowing game of footy!

We’ll continue to update this article, over the next 12 hours, leading up to kick off.
